130 competitors will take the start of the second Legend of the Heroes on March 24 at the foot of the Eiffel Tower: divided into teams made up of three people, a motorcycle and a 4×4, they will try to reach Dakar by the tracks to April 7…

Under the watchful eye of Hubert Auriol, the 130 competitors in the second Legend of the Heroes (read and) will set off from the foot of the Eiffel Tower on March 24, bound for Dakar..

Gathered on March 22 and 23 in Colombes (Hauts-de-Seine) at the Yves du Manoir stadium for administrative and technical checks, the teams each made up of three people, a motorbike and a 4×4 assistance, they will be able to put their motorcycles (mainly Yamaha 500 XT and BMW GS) in a truck bound for Oloron-Sainte-Marie where they will cover their first kilometers of off-road in the surrounding woods.

Then we head for Spain with the highlight on March 26 a special in the natural circus of Olmos, near Valencia. And after a night on the boat between Almeria and Nador, they will finally be able to put their wheels on African soil (read in particular)…

Across Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal, they will face sand, stones, dunes, tracks, fords, beaches and wadis, but "in a spirit of conviviality, mutual aid and good humor", specifies the organizer who indicates that"all types of specials will be there, with a leitmotif for the competitors: safety and regularity".

After 6,500 km of raid, participants will finally reach Lac Rose, near Dakar (Senegal), where the classification will be established according to the bike and the 4×4 of each team..
