The 25 teams entered for the first edition of the Legend of the Heroes, this new raid to Dakar reserved for Yamaha 500 XTs organized by Hubert Auriol (read), will leave the Eiffel Tower on Saturday February 18 to arrive – in principle! – in Dakar on March 4.

Each crew consists of three people, a Yamaha 500XT and a 4×4 assistance. Hubert Auriol thus understands "reconnect with the traditional values ​​of raids: the technical arms race is not necessary, only the desire to experience an extraordinary event will lead the competitors to the finish in an atmosphere that aims to be friendly, in the heart beautiful landscapes", specifies the organizer.

Dutch, French, Germans and Americans are already registered with a common goal: to take their 500XT to Dakar by writing "a new page of the raiding ledger".
