Treats from the box
The motorcycle museum “L’epopee de la Moto”, located in Quebec, Canada, needs capital to expand its exhibition space. In addition, the Canadians are auctioning some delicious motorcycles from their collection in Las Vegas – some of them still in their original boxes.

From January 21 to 26, 2020, the Mecum auction house in Las Vegas will be showing numerous motorcycles hammer. The auction, comprising 21 items, is intended to bring in the motorcycle museum “L’epopee de la Moto” the money it needs to expand the museum in Quebec.
Bimotas in boxes
Most of the machines from Italian manufacturers are being auctioned, including many that are still in their original delivery condition in the transport box. These gems include a Bimota SB4 from 1984, a Bimota YB4 R from 1988, a Bimota YB6 EI Tuatara from 1991 as well as a Bimota DB1S from 1986 and a Bimota YB4 EI from 1988.
Mecum
A Laverda SFC 1000 from 1986 and a Moto Guzzi Le Mans 1000, which was delivered in 1981 but still not unpacked, are also still in the box stage. In addition, three more Moto Guzzi V7s – one Special and two Sport – from the years 1970 to 1972 as well as a 1984 Harley XR 1000 and a 1972 Harley XR 750 were offered.
Unpacked, but desirable
The offered portfolio is rounded off by a Bimota DB1 SR (1988), a Yamaha FZR 750 from 1987, a 1976 MV Agusta 750 American, a 1981 Ducati Mike Hailwood replica, a Bimota DB1 R from 1988, a Ducati 750SS built in 1974 , as well as a 1987 Ducati 750 F1 Montjuich (prototype), a Ducati 916 racing version and a Bimota KB1 from 1978.
