So we must put into perspective the "recovery" seen in March 2017. Especially since the month that has just passed had one more working day than March 2016 (23 Vs 22), ie 4.5% of the time. in addition to register your motorcycle in the prefecture. We can nevertheless be satisfied with the release this spring of many new products for 2017: the Euro4 standard was an opportunity for manufacturers to develop all of their ranges, or even to revolutionize certain models. !
On the 125 cc market, registrations started to rise again in March (+ 4.2% compared to last year) but the balance for the first quarter remained in deficit: -607 registrations (-7%). If the Honda leader drives very hard, Yamaha and Piaggio cannot keep up and many manufacturers are struggling: the entire second half of the Top 10 is in the negative…
On the other hand, among the "+ 125", the majority of the speedometers are in the green, starting with that of Kawasaki! The European brands Triumph, Ducati, KTM and Husqvarna are also dynamic. In the Top 10, Harley-Davidson and Suzuki are the only ones not improving. Overall, large engines are up + 14.9% in March, + 3.9% over the first three months.
