Moto Guzzi V7 III Stone / Night Pack / S

Moto Guzzi V7 III Stone Night Pack.
Followed up with the V7, which has been a successful best seller for years Moto Guzzi a strategy that Harley-Davidson has always practiced profitably: a few small equipment details and colors changed, and whoosh you have a new model. At least on paper, because technically all V7s are identical. The models mentioned in this box are all on cast wheels in the classic Le Mans 1 look. All models can be further customized with the in-house accessories catalog.
Moto Guzzi V7 III Racer / Rough / Special
Moto Guzzi.
Moto Guzzi V7 III Special.
Racer, Rough and Special unite the spoke wheels, otherwise they go different ways. The racer shown in the picture above was given a smart lamp mask for the tenth anniversary of the model. The rough has matt colors and rough rubbers behave. Aside from its name, the Special is actually the “most normal” bike in the range. The color scheme and decor are reminiscent of the good old 1000S, regardless of the tubular handlebar instead of the stub of the model. The drive is always the same here as well.
Moto Guzzi V85 TT / Travel

Moto Guzzi V85 TT Travel.
You really don’t have to be a prophet to predict today that one day it will have been the V85 TT that marked the turning point for the niche manufacturer from Lake Como, who had been ailing for years. Because as early as September 2019 it was announced that Guzzi would be able to put more units on the road from the V85 alone, at least in this country, than the entire program in toto in 2018. This success is not surprising, because the Italian combines a classic, but not old-fashioned look with high functionality and current equipment features such as cruise control, various driving modes and TFT display. In addition, there is a drive that, despite all modernity, has sufficient guzziness, and with its 80 hp neither overwhelms the less experienced nor bores old hands. The chassis lives up to its name, TT stands for tutto terreno, which means all terrains, including easy terrain. Below: Case set, new color and high windshield result in a new model: the TT Travel.
Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber / Sport
Moto Guzzi.
Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber Sport.
The combination of the terms bobber and sport occurs about as often in the motorcycle scene as vegan meatballs in a country butcher’s shop. Because fully adjustable suspension struts, even with a reservoir, a solo bench seat and a cropped front wheel cover alone do not make a lap time file. Especially not from a bobber with wide tires at the front. Another unique selling point of the sport is the color shown above, a well-advised mixture of orange, gold and bronze.
Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer
Moto Guzzi.
Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer.
According to Langenscheidt, a Roamer is a wanderer, a stray or a vagabond. With which the essence of the Roamer is pretty good. Thanks to the narrow front wheel and upright seating position, it is significantly more active than a chopper or cruiser and yet far removed from hyperactive high-tech planers, making it a happily bubbling companion for a relaxed, enjoyable ride. ABS and traction control help to maintain composure on slippery terrain.
Moto Guzzi Audace Carbon

Moto Guzzi Audace Carbon.
It could also be called Testarossa because it wears red cylinder head covers. But this name is always associated with Ferrari. By the way, Audace means boldness. The official consumption figure of 10.4 liters is also bold. In any case, in the MOTORRAD comparison test, which it won by the way, it was content with 5.8 liters at the time. The factory information may have been determined in the pursuit of a Testarossa. But that’s pure speculation. In any case, the chassis would do it easily.
Moto Guzzi Eldorado
Moto Guzzi.
Moto Guzzi Eldorado.
The Eldorado is practically the classic cruiser among the Mandello Big Twins. With whitewall tires, wire-spoke wheels, lots of chrome, a Harley-like clad telescopic fork and a sweeping handlebar, it appeals to more conservative customers. Despite the handlebars, it runs a little faster than the Audace, according to the data sheet, with over two liters less consumption. Although the 1.4-liter engine is considered a high-revving displacement dwarf among hardcore cruiser freaks, it still pushes the big Guzzis forward very confidently.
Moto Guzzi California 1400 Touring

Moto Guzzi California 1400 Touring.
Next year, in 2021, it will be 50, the Moto Guzzi California. Originally developed as a service bike for the Californian police, it has built up a reputation as an active tourer in this country over the generations. She was always a mediator between the worlds. She is currently trying to combine the “look and feel” of Harley-Davidson Roadking bikes with the dynamic driving qualities of, say, a BMW R 1250 R. Which, with a clear swing in the direction of America, is quite successful.
Moto Guzzi MGX-21
Moto Guzzi.
Moto Guzzi MGX-21.
Basically, the MGX-21 is the excavator version of the Audace. The massive handlebar fairing and the more shapely than practical permanently mounted cases as well as lots of carbon parts immediately catch the eye. And of course the 21-inch front wheel mentioned in the name. Unfortunately, this could not really convince in the MOTORRAD test at the time, because a basic Audace drove much more harmoniously. And more stable. The official consumption figures almost fit here. We drove them with 5.8 liters at the time.
