Self-standing e-motorcycle
At the Tokyo Motor Show 2017, Honda is showing its Riding Assist-e system, now integrated for the first time in a brand new electric motorcycle.
AT.At the end of October 2017, Honda will present its Riding Assist assistance system, integrated into an electric motorcycle for the first time, at the Tokyo Motor Show, which has received much international attention. Honda Riding Assist-e is not only about preventing the motorcycle from falling over at low speeds. It should make motorcycling easier and safer in general by using the latest robot technology, according to the announcement from the Japanese corporate headquarters.
In this announcement, the e-motorcycle is already referred to as a "model" from Honda. However, it is still unclear whether the Honda Riding Assist-e is actually a vehicle that is to be built in series in the future, or a further concept study, as Honda did in early 2017 in the form of an NC 750 with a conventional internal combustion engine has shown: motorradonline.de/honda-studie.
Honda has also announced that it will be showing the Honda models CRF 250 Rally, CB 1300 Super Bol d’Or and CB 400 Super Four at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. The 45th Tokyo Motor Show begins on Wednesday, October 25, 2017.
