Despite the victory of the Norwegian Pal Anders Ullevalseter (KTM) on the 11th and last stage, it is the Italian Alessandro Botturi who wins the Africa Eco Race 2019. The official Yamaha Italy wins in the general classification ahead of Ullevalseter and Agazzi while the first French, Patrice Carillon, finished 6th ahead of nine other compatriots. Behind, Simone Aagazzi (Honda) took no risk and consolidated her third place on the final podium ahead of the KTMs of Felix Jensen (4th as in 2018) and Francisco Arredondo (5th). Patrice Carillon finished 6th, first French motorcycle rider and first in the "Malles Moto" categories (unassisted riders who themselves provide maintenance using parts transported by the organization).
