The Bol d’Or 2009, 5th round of the world championship and unmissable event for motorcycle endurance, this Greek tragedy revisited in mechanical sauce, will take place on September 12 and 13 at Magny-Cours. And the Mutual offers you places !

The Mutual gives you free entry !

From July 1 to August 31, the Mutuelle des Motards is organizing two games to win places for the Bol d’Or 2009: "Touche pas à mon top-case" on and the "Summer quiz" on .

Halfway between Jack Bauer and Antigone, motorcycle endurance races are fascinating that on Saturdays at 3:00 p.m., no one is in a position to know exactly what the next 24 hours will be like….

Not to mention the impossibility of knowing with certainty the outcome of these mechanical gladiatorial fights, generally rich in resounding drama, cruelly shattered false hopes and long sequences of suspense punctuated by supplies, falls, paneling, the mind-blowing lap times, the twinkling light of the control screens, the liters of coffee – or beer, depending on which side of the fence you are on – and inedible sandwiches sold at high prices…

The main endurance teams, both professionals and experienced amateurs, will therefore meet on September 12 and 13 on the Magny-Cours circuit (58) to replay the many times learned, long repeated but always unpredictable scenes of this 73rd Gold bowl.

Prices

  • General enclosure ticket : 54 euros for tickets purchased before September 1 (general enclosure + village + campsite + concert on Saturday evening at 9 p.m. + visit of the stands on Friday evening + free access to the stands within the limit of available places).

  • After September 1 : 64 euros

  • Paddock access : supplement of 10 eurosChildren under 12 accompanied by an adult: free

  • On the stage, two concerts are scheduled for Saturday evening: the French group Shaka Ponk, who released their first album in 2006, will offer "a range of tracks ranging from electronics to rock through hip-hop", specifies the organizer while the four Swedish Crucified Barbara will play"hard rock trend heavy metal".

And for those who are reluctant to stick their noses out, the Orange TV channel (reserved for Orange subscribers, as its name suggests) will broadcast the event for the second year in a row while Site, faithful to its habit since 2003 (read, ,,, and), will make you experience the race and its perks live for 24 hours !
