Pierre Audoin, "National manager" Indian and Victory: I think the market is changing. The average basket is increasing. MNC: Regarding Indian and Victory, what is your assessment of your first six months of 2015? ?
P. A .:
A very good result, knowing that we are in very clear increase thanks to our three bestsellers Victory Gunner, Indian Roadmaster and Indian Scout. Our main concern today is to manage a shortage on these models, due to a surplus of unforeseen orders. For the first year, we have set up a road show comprising 16 dates which exceeded all our expectations in terms of the number of tests and visits..

MNC: For you, what is the highlight of this first half of the year? ?
P. A .:
For me, it is the rapid rise of motorcycles with a strong image and the establishment of a new trend among bikers, which goes back to the origins of the motorcycle. The group spirit, the desire to ride different, the return to essential values and mythical brands, the marketing of very distinctive motorcycles.

MNC: How is your second semester going? ?
P. A .:
First of all, to try to honor as many of our order forms as possible and then to prepare for the arrival of the 2016 models. To do our best to prepare for a very nice Salon de Paris, because it will be a big edition I think…

MNC: Finally, the government has still not settled the question of the "retrofit" (read). How much does this lack of response impact your business ?
P. A .:
We are not impacted for the moment…
