New Ducati 2018: first stolen photos of the V4 Superbike
Only a few days after the publication of an official video concerning a future Panigale (special edition?), Our Belgian colleagues from Maxxmoto unsheathed the first pictures of a future Ducati sports car with a V4 engine….
On July 7, the Bologna firm has planned to: will we discover the latest version of the current 1299, or the first generation of sports cars "Made in Bologna" powered by a brand new V4 ?
Less likely than the first, this second track is not to be categorically rejected: the future Ducati Superbike was surprised in full development and the first two pictures were published by our colleagues from .
In terms of size and lines, the prototype seems close to: lights hidden under the front face, full and flat fairing, thin and high rear buckle … We also note the maintenance of the single-arm swing arm and the low exhaust.

We can guess, however, that the 4-cylinder V is positioned differently in the frame (aluminum monocoque always ?!) compared to its predecessor: with the Twin in L Superquadro, the rear cylinder went straight up towards the pilot..
We also note that the side mono-shock absorber of the 1299 disappears on the future pistarde: rid of the bulky exhaust manifold, the transalpine engineers had to succeed in placing the new suspension in the center of the bike … as on the RSV4 and its little comrades!
