After several months of, road fatalities saw a net decline of 11.6% in July, with 304 people dying in a road accident against 344 in July 2013. An almost historic drop since it concerns the number of deaths the lowest recorded in July "since 1954", calculates Road Safety.
The other indicators are also on the decline with -15.6% of bodily accidents and injured people, and -18.6% of people hospitalized "more than 24 hours" after a road accident. Good news never comes alone, the statistics concerning the users of motorized two-wheelers are also proving to be satisfactory, with 42 fewer deaths of bikers or scooter riders than in July 2013..
