Suzuki GSX-S125 2017: initial information

Reduced in recent years to the single VanVan, Suzuki’s 125 cc range of motorcycles is enriched in 2017 with two new models: the GSX-R125 unveiled last month in Cologne and its "naked" version GSX-S125 exhibited in the premiere world this week in Milan.

On the, the best-selling motorcycles are currently Sino-French neo-retros: and. Two motorcycles to which the VanVan 125, with its basic mechanics and good boils, manages to steal a few sales each month. 

The segment of small motorcycles "which have everything of a great" also achieves very good scores, but the, and mostly seduce French bikers, whether they have the (125) or the B license (car).

Newcomer to the gang – it will be launched the next school year … in September 2017! -, the GSX-S125 will try to increase the – tiny – market share of Suzuki in 125. Like its competitors, this novelty 2017 is presented as the youngest of a sibling, in this case those of GSX-S: launched in 2014 and unveiled last month at Intermot.

In fact, the little roadster Suz ‘is above all the stripped-down version of the brand new one, also unveiled at the German show. The "mini" GSX-S therefore takes over all the technical attributes of the "mini" Gex (see key points) with a handlebar placed closer to the pilot and higher (10 cm), all under a shorter dress. .. so sexier ?

Everyone is free to appreciate the plastic of the GSX-S125, whose false-shaped radiator scoops evoke those of the "seven-and-a-half" and "thousand", but whose optics contrast with the style more conventional fat: the little roadster takes the LED headlight of the small sports car. The price of this new Suzuki 2017 which will be available in three colors is not yet defined, but it should be below the € 4,500 mark..
