Limited special model

MV Agusta and Pirelli have worked together to put a new special model on the wheels. The so-called MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR Pirelli will only be available in limited numbers.

Last year the two manufacturers MV Agusta and Pirelli presented a special model created in cooperation. At that time, it was decided to use the Brutale 800 RR as the base bike. So now another special model follows, this time based on the D.ragster 800 RR. The Pirelli dragster was presented during the opening ceremony of the new Pirelli P Zero World showroom in Monte Carlo.

Optical adjustments in focus

Compared to the basic version, the main visual adjustments were made. Technically, not much has changed compared to the basic model. The three-cylinder engine continues to develop 140 hp at 12,300 rpm and 87 Nm at 10,100 rpm. The new MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR Pirelli will be available in two different color variants: a version in black with yellow color elements and another variant in white with blue influences. In addition, some other adjustments were made. The tank cover and some trim parts are now made of a special rubber material developed by Pirelli’s research and development department. According to their own statements, the new material should be characterized by better resistance to scratches and high resistance to weather and chemical substances such as gasoline.

In addition to this paint job called "Pearl Ice White / Blue America" is also a black and yellow variant called "Matt Black / Pirelli Yellow" offered.

For the tires, the two manufacturers opted for the Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP in the dimensions 120/70 ZR17 at the front and 200/55 ZR17 at the rear. The 6-inch rims have also been optically adapted to the respective paintwork. The bench was also specially made for the new special model. Also new are the revisions to the silencer, which has been coated with a special and temperature-resistant paint. The numerous Pirelli logos that were placed in some places on the special model are also striking. As mentioned at the beginning, the special model will only be available in limited numbers. How many copies will be produced and how much the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR Pirelli will cost is not yet known.
