The subject of the cooperation is the edition of a new special series of the retro super sports car MV Agusta Superveloce 800. The limited number of sports bikes “Superveloce Alpine ”is painted in the same blue as the Alpine A110 mid-engined sports car and bears the Alpine logo on the panels. The A110 then also specifies the limitation. Only 110 machines are built.

Special model in special colors

The black Alcantara bench with blue stitching and the CNC-milled black wheels of the Superveloce Alpine are also reminiscent of the A110. Alpine lettering adorns the leather strap on the tank. The French and Italian flags on the sides of the front fender round off the distinctive appearance of the exclusive special series. For the bike there is also a special racing exhaust system from Arrow with suitable software for the engine control, a CNC-milled fuel filler cap, a hump cover and a tarpaulin for the motorcycle. Of course, the authenticity of the Alpine MV is confirmed with a certificate.

“MV Agusta and Alpine are characterized by the same passion for the construction and development of aesthetically pleasing technical products that arouse unique emotions in the customers ”, says Patrick Marinoff, Managing Director of Alpine. Both brands are also linked by a successful motorsport tradition with numerous title wins.

Sold out in no time

Technically, the MV Agusta Superveloce Alpine remains unchanged. Its 800 three-cylinder engine continues to deliver 147 hp and 88 Nm of torque. Enough to accelerate the sport bike, which weighs 173 kilograms when dry, to 240 km / h. MV Agusta mentions 36,300 euros as the basic price. Nobody has to remember this price, because the special model was completely sold out just a few hours after the presentation. There remains the standard Superveloce, which costs only 19,900 euros.

Alpine is a subsidiary of the French car manufacturer Renault. Alpine currently only offers the A110 in different variations. From 2021, the French Formula 1 racing team under the Alpine label compete.

Conclusion

MV Agusta continues its special model policy. Whether it’s an anniversary or an exclusive partner – only a few copies are ever made, with little or no technical changes. But the prices are always high. The special series are always sold out.
