Unveiled last fall in Milan, the new Quadro 350S three-wheeled scooter will land in dealerships at the beginning of July at the launch price of 6,990 euros excluding start-up costs and registration fees (7290 euros thereafter). This 350S is an evolution of the first tripod of the Italian brand, the 350D, of which the French network sells the deniers copies at 5,999 € (excluding fees and registration).

Technically and aesthetically very similar to the Quadro 350D launched in 2011, the 350S is essentially differentiated by its new engine: its 4-stroke cube single cylinder now 346 cc (313 cc on the 350D) and goes from two to four valves.

Still manufactured by the Taiwanese Aeon, this engine would develop 4 horsepower and a handful of additional newton-meters of torque (27 hp and 25.5 Nm), which should benefit the dynamic behavior of this 205 kg "anti-Piaggio MP3" dried up.

An MP3 that sets it against a well-established notoriety and a much more complete range since it extends from the Yourban 125 (5590 €) and its acclaimed 300cc brother, the Yourban 300 LT (6099 €), to the MP3 Sport 500 ( € 9,199) through the Touring versions of 125, 300 and 400 cc! The new Quadro will also have to face the new, admittedly more expensive (8,899 €), but whose successful design and superior mechanical performance (37.2 hp and 38.1 Nm of torque) are all important points for three-wheeler scooter riders.

The Quadro 350S, on which the French importer Royal Moto France strongly relies to accelerate the relaunch of its activities (read MNC of January 8, 2013:), also releases new rear suspension settings, a saddle announced more comfortable, guard- longer sludges and instrumentation on which the engine and air temperature are now displayed.

Its hydraulic tilting system (HTS) front axle system, which allows it to tilt in curves and remain balanced when stationary despite the absence of a "Roll Lock" type locking as on the MP3, is for its part, renewed as is. The same goes for its practical aspects, such as its trunk that can accommodate two helmets or its two storage spaces on the apron..

Next step: the four-wheeler !

As a reminder, Quadro is a brand created in 2009 by Studio Marabese, an Italian company specializing in the creation of motorcycle and scooter concepts (read in particular).

Led by Luciano Marabese, this company plays the card of design and innovation to stand out from Piaggio three-wheelers. It will normally reveal for this purpose one: stay connected !

Without forgetting the new Peugeot Metropolis 400 RS, admittedly more expensive than the new Quadro (8,899 €), but whose successful design and superior mechanical performance (37.2 hp and 38.1 Nm of torque) are all points of importance for the scooter enthusiast of three-wheelers.

Note that the Quadro 350S, on which the French importer, Royal Moto France strongly relies, to accelerate the relaunch of its commercial activities (read MNC of January 8, 2013: RMF is counting on Quadro to bounce back in 2013), also releases new settings rear suspensions, a more comfortable saddle, longer mudguards and instrumentation on which the engine and air temperature are now displayed.
