Triumph Street Tracker: the Big Thruxton reappears !

Surprised at the end of 2012 alongside new Tiger 1050 and Thunderbird since market releases, the Triumph Street Tracker is still waiting. However, she has just had her photos taken by our colleagues from MCN on Spanish roads…

Not content with having shot it again at the next international fairs – see you in Milan in nine months, or in Paris in twelve! -, journalists from across the Channel even believe they know its engine…

The twin cylinder modeled on that of the current Bonneville would cub "around 1100 cc and should develop a power close to 90 hp"According to their sources – the house testers based in Spain? Noooo … – the engine would benefit from important updates – cooling system, for example – which would also benefit the 865 cc.

MCN’s "Ze little finger" also whispers that two versions of this novelty (2016?) Would be available. Knowing Triumph, it is very likely: this kind of Big Thruxton would be available in an "R" version decked out with Ohlins suspensions and Brembo brake calipers. The cliches tend to prove it.

Necessarily more expensive than the Thruxton (9,990 € already) in its standard version, the one that the English call "Street Tracker R" will see its bill increase even more. She can afford it, since the R Nine T which is in her viewfinder is displayed at € 15,000 in France where it is a hit (!).
