Yamaha refines its MWT-9 three-wheel motorcycle concept

Discovered last year by MNC at Intermot under the name 01Gen, the Yamaha concept of a three-wheel motorcycle resurfaced at the Tokyo Motor Show (Japan), at the same place where the tuning fork brand had unveiled its motorcycle project at four wheels (who says better?) Tesseract in 2007.

Taking up the concept of "Leaning Multi-Wheel" (LMW, which could be translated as "several wheels with an angle") developed on the three-wheel scooter, this concept now called MWT-9 "offers a new category in the field of sports motorcycles ", assures Yamaha.

Like the MT-09, the MWT-9 adopts an 850 cc 3-cylinder engine and, thanks to its very sturdy front axle, promises a "high level of performance" with a lean angle "maximized by the fork" … More info at the next EICMA fair: stay tuned !
