Motorcycle video: Anthony Kiedis’ Black Hot Road Glide
The leader of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Anthony Kiedis, has just taken possession of a very special Road Glide, because it has been meticulously prepared by the Roland Sands Design workshop. Some photos and a small video were made for the occasion.
Mr Red Hot’s Road Glide
"When Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers calls you and says he wants a motorcycle, you wonder where it will take you", says Roland Sands, famous motorcycle trainer based on the Californian coast, in Los Alamitos (United States).
"When he tells you that he writes all of his songs while listening to music on his motorcycle, you start to get the hang of it", he continues … Inducted into the pantheon of rock in 2011, the leader of the RHCP wanted his motorcycle to be black – what else? – and to have an excellent sound system.
"Our friends at Bennett’s Performance have spruced up the engine from the bottom up using S&S parts and we’ve spruced it up with transparent RSD Black Ops parts.", details the preparer.
The chassis is not left out: radial brake calipers and "Performance" discs, revised shock absorbers, homemade rims and Dunlop "tires"tights"are also part of the endowment.
On the audio side, finally, the RSD team installed on this very special Road Glide a high-end system from the Kicker brand, as well as a pair of exhausts and a tiny RSD air filter, just to make a good counter- measured !
All that remained was to deliver the motorbike, which was precisely what was done last weekend. A little video session with "My Friends" from RDS, a few "Out in LA" photos, a last shot "Under The Bridge" and Anthony was going back "Road Trippin" … !
