The new rally kit, which is designed for all EXC four-stroke models built from 2017 onwards, is aimed at long-distance enduro riders, off-road amateurs and professional rally drivers.

Complete package for just under 1,100 euros

The package includes a large, transparent panel with stickers that match the vehicle decor, which is intended to significantly improve the wind and weather protection for the driver as well as the protection for the on-board instruments. Two round LED headlights arranged one above the other are supposed to provide more light on night stages. An integrated passive cooling system is supposed to protect the headlights from overheating damage even in extreme temperatures. In addition, they should be well secured against dust and dirt.

The complete kit should weigh just under 3 kilograms.

These assemblies are mounted on a new carbon tower that is placed in front of the steering head. All components are designed in such a way that they can be flanged to existing assembly points and removed again without leaving any residue. Of course, it also includes a complete set of cables for connection to the on-board electrical system. In addition, the kit offers an assembly preparation for a Scott steering damper.

The Czechs put the total weight of the rally kit at just under 3 kilograms. The price is 1,099 euros. The kit has just proven its baptism of fire at the Dakar under the pilots Gabriela Novotna and Jan Vesely.

Additional holder planned

A kit expansion is also planned from March 2019. Then a lightweight holder made of an aluminum alloy should be able to accommodate additional navigation devices, road books, trip masters or GPS receivers, etc. This holder is then mounted on the carbon tower. The experience gained at the Dakar should flow into its construction.
