Aprilia 550 SXV 2009: the ultimate weapon in rallying !
Pierre Lemos, emeritus driver in road rallies, is registered for The Ultimate Rally and the next Dark Dog Moto Tour riding an official Aprilia 550 SXV, the new 2009 model version. He therefore tried the tool on this edition. 2009 Rallye de l’Ain and listening to it, it’s fun !
"It is the ultimate weapon in rallying", exclaims Pierre:"the consequent flexibility of the engine and its ease of revving are assets that I have always wished to have on my rally motorcycles and there, everything is there !"

Aprilia France therefore bet on Pierre in the two hardest rallies, both in terms of driver resistance and machine reliability, to erase the reputation of the old Aprilia 550 SXV blackened by precarious reliability..
Despite the bad memories of Pierre Lemos on the Rallye de l’Ain (read), and although he only came this year to test his bike, he obtained a very honorable 8th place scratch (2nd Topsport), among the tenors of the French Rally Championship! A promising result for the Ultimate !
