On the day’s program: 473 km of connection with two different specials that will be used twice during the route.

Apart from the fall of one of the two competitors of this first edition of the Tunisian Moto Tour, Enriqueta Casanas Torres (Ducati Hyperstrada), forced to retire following a fracture of the malleolus, the first long link this morning took place without snags.

In the first special of the day, Sebastien Lagut (Yamaha 450 YZF) confirmed his pole position by securing the best time (1’13.10) ahead of the Yamaha 450 YZF of Team 2B / Deletang of Julien Toniutti (1’14.60) . Remarkable third time for Michel Bonneau (KTM 640 LC4) in 1’22.60.

Pascal Ponel (MV Agusta Brutale), seventh scratch at yesterday’s stage, made a mistake and had to give up (broken collarbone).

The next special will see the first two places reversed: Julien Toniutti goes on the attack and lands the best pendulum nearly three seconds ahead of Sebastien Lagut (2’43.50 against 2’46.40). Franck Coudert (Ducati 1200 Monster) completes the table with the third time (2’49.80).

A 50 km loop of technical link in gravel and other small broken roads will then bring us back to the first of these two stages..

At this second passage, same scenario as in the previous special and we find in the order Toniutti, Lagut and Coudert.

The lunch break is organized in a school near Jbel Bargou where couscous is served to competitors. The organization of the Tunisian Moto Tour had planned to collect school material offered by some participants to give it to school children, delighted by the passage of the Tunisian Moto Tour.

Last special of the day: best time for Julien Toniutti (again) on Yamaha 450 YZF Team 2B / Deletang ahead of Sebastien Lagut (Yamaha 450 YZF) and Maxime Mettra (MV Agusta Rivale).

In the final classification of this stage, we find Julien Toniutti winner ahead of Sebastien Lagut and Franck Coudert (Ducati 1200 Monster). In the provisional general, Sebastien Lagut is still in the lead followed by Julien Toniutti who is only 5 tenths away! Third Franck Coudert (Ducati 1200 Monster), fourth Michel Bonneau (KTM 640 LC4) and fifth Maxime Mettra (MV Agusta Rivale)

Tomorrow, first departure at 8:00 am and head west to reach Tabarka by a 373 km link with three specials. Stay connected !
