Ultimate Challenge: the Ultimate Rally route in 125 !
The organizer of the terrible Ultimate Rally has launched his own challenge: to rally Avignon to Marcillat-en-Combraille in Ultimate conditions … but on a 125 cm3 ! An adventure to experience live on the web: departure tonight at 2 a.m. !

Patrick Bournisien, the organizer of the terrible Ultimate Rally disputed in June (read our) set out his own challenge: rally Avignon (84) to Marcillat-en-Combraille (03) in Ultimate conditions (start in full night, without GPS and within the allotted time) … but on a 125 cm3 !
The start will be given tonight at 2am: to experience this crazy adventure as close as possible, the motorcycle (a Derbi 125 GPR entirely stock apart from a smaller gearbox output pinion and two Xenon headlights) is equipped with a tracker allowing with ten virtual CPs (passage controls) pointed by the track.
"The bike is almost ready", explains Patrick:"the Southeast roadbook is installed in the reader (a little more and it did not hold!), the bike computer is mounted but I do not have time to assemble a tripmaster"…
Patrick will be accompanied by a BMW 1200 GS equipped with a third tracker box and to make matters worse, "the weather is great for the next two days": rain tomorrow all day in Avignon and" agitated "night on the side of Puy-en-Velay (43).
The CP du Puy will be at the Derbi dealership, which will host Patrick "from 6 a.m. (optimistic …)"in his store at 32 bd Philippe Jourde.
In addition to the tracker units, this challenge will make it possible to test two new additional Xenon System headlights: the Modul on the right (which exists in "long range" or "proximity" versions) and the Twin Xenon (on the left).
