Frederic Pechenard, interministerial delegate for road safety for a year and a half, has just left his post to stand for municipal elections alongside Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet (UMP), in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.

Frederic Pechenard, interministerial delegate for road safety, has just left his post to run for municipal elections alongside Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet (UMP), in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.

"At his request, and by decision of the Council of Ministers of December 4, Frederic Pechenard left his duties as interministerial delegate for road safety to be appointed inspector general of administration (IGA) in extraordinary service", specifies the Directorate of traffic and road safety (DSCR).

The former, who intends to make security in Paris one of the pillars of the UMP candidate’s campaign, had recently signed a campaign to promote motorcycle equipment.
