With the communication systems 3S ​​Plus Boom and 3S Plus Universal, Sena is starting the 2021 season with two new headsets for motorcycle and scooter helmets.

The new S3 Plus models from Sena succeed the S3 systems. In this case, plus means an extended range of functions and an intercom range that has been doubled to 400 meters.

The Sena 3S Plus Boom has a minimalist, compact design with buttons directly on the microphone so that it can be fully integrated into jet helmets. The sister model 3S Plus Universal comes with a compact, external control unit. It is attached to the outside of the helmet shell and can be used with both jet and full-face helmets. Both a freely mountable cable microphone and a boom microphone are included in the scope of delivery of the Universal.

Two-button operation

Both models, which weigh almost 50 grams, are operated using just two buttons. With just a few clicks, 2-way intercom calls can be set up. The Sena Advanced Noise Technology, which filters out annoying wind noise, ensures crystal-clear sound. In connection with a smartphone, the user can also listen to music, receive GPS instructions or make phone calls. Bluetooth 4.1 is available for contacting mobile devices. The two new 3S Plus models can be connected to the Sena Utility App for additional ease of use.

Sena states that the battery runtime is up to eight hours and the charging time should be three hours. The Sena 3S Plus Boom and the 3S Plus Universal are now available from specialist retailers for 109 euros.
