No other motorcycle is currently in as much demand as the BMW S 1000 RR. With almost 200 hp series output, traction control and racing ABS, it drives the competition into the ground. The accessories trade would also like to benefit from this hype.
More and more manufacturers are now offering products for S 1000 RR in the range, from the exhaust system to the windshield – even though the superbike has only been on the market for four months. respect!
PS plowed through the motorcycle accessories field and compiled a list of offers for the Beemer. Some parts were still in development at the time of going to press. So it’s worth keeping your eyes open.

Dietmar Franzen from Sport-Evolution.
Dietmar Franzen from Sport-Evolution (www.sport-evolution.de) starts 2010 with his own team and two BMW S 1000 RR in the Superbike-IDM and knows the weaknesses of the strong Bavarian: “In general, the chassis has to be a little tighter for the racetrack. Another shock absorber at the rear, another cartridge or a serial conversion at the front”. On the engine side, Franzen sees less need for improvement: “The S 1000 RR has an abundance of top performance, it actually doesn’t need an increase in performance. With a complete system and the right set-up, the superbike gains significantly more power in the medium speed range up to 8000 rpm.” The BMW brake system works well, but Franzen recommends switching to accessory brake pads.
