Shoei presented a new helmet with a retro look called Glamster at EICMA. A successor to the J-Cruise was also shown in Milan. In addition, there will be some already known 2020 models in new designs.

The Shoei Glamster will be available from next spring.

The new Shoei Glamster is expanding the so-called Neo-Classic series, which previously consisted of the two helmets Jo and Ex-Zero, with another new model. According to Shoei, the goal in developing the new full-face helmet with a retro look was a combination of traditional design, modern comfort and functionality using the latest technologies. The newest member of the Shoei family will initially be available in four colors and one graphic version. The curved visor called CPB-1 was specially developed for the new Glamster. The visor is attached to the helmet by external aluminum screws. The Glamster is available in three different outer shell sizes, which means that the helmet will be available in sizes XS to XXL. The newcomer will be available for purchase from spring 2020. Shoei has not yet named a price.

The new Shoei J-Cruise II is available in sizes XS to XXL.

The new Shoei J-Cruise 2 is, who would have thought, the successor to the J-Cruise open face helmet that is already available. Compared to the previous model, Shoei equips the new J-Cruise 2 with an integrated sun visor. Otherwise, Shoei claims to have also worked on functionality, comfort and ventilation. The new J-Cruise 2 is also compatible with Sena’s SRL and SRL2 communication systems. Potential buyers can choose between sizes XS to XXL. The open face helmet is made from four different outer shell constructions. Initially the new J-Cruise 2 will be available in five colors and two graphic variants. The price: not yet known.

New designs for NXR, Ex-Zero & Co.

The Shoei NXR will be available in several new design variants in 2020.

Apart from the two completely new models described above, the well-known Shoei helmets X-Spirit III, NXR, GT-Air 2, VFX-WR and Jo will also be available in new design variants. Shoei has not yet named prices here either.

Conclusion

Shoei is expanding its model portfolio with two more models and is creating a new buying incentive for the already known models with new colors. Shoei has not yet announced prices, but potential buyers cannot hope for fabulous bargains.
