Smoked Garage specializes in custom conversions. With the SG 411, a Royal Enfield Himalayan a veritable scrambler with a modern look, which, however, required deep interventions in the substance of the Indian enduro.

The purification cure initially fell victim to the entire rear frame. Here, a flat pipe loop now performs its supporting role for the newly formed bench, which was designed as an aluminum monocoque together with the tank cladding. The angular shape is reminiscent of the early Hans A. Muth designs, who also drew the old Suzuki Katana. The tank cap is framed by a carbon cover.

Disc optic wheels

At the front, a modern 43 mm Showa USD fork replaces the series fork. With a radial attachment to it, Nissin four-piston calipers grind two 310 brake disks into the ironer. These are mounted on an 18-inch disc wheel. The window look is achieved with carbon covers over conventional spoke rims. The standpipes protect special carbon covers.

The reduced appearance also affects the actual weight of the Himalayan. The enduro has been slimmed down by almost 20 to just 175 kilograms.
