All other accident indicators for the last month have also increased, going from + 1.8% for the number of injured to + 3.3% for hospitalized people and + 3.4% for bodily accidents.
Regarding motorized two-wheelers, mortality is down slightly after the significant increase recorded in July, largely explained by the difference in weather between a rainy summer 2014 and a sunny and dry summer 2015 (read).

Overall, road fatalities increased by + 4.6% over the first eight months of 2015, an increase that the government considers to be the "consequence of a continuous relaxation of behavior on the road".
The Ministry of the Interior takes as proof of this the record of offenses noted by the police in 2014, which notably shows an increase of "20%" in the number of offenses at the speed recorded by radar. automatic and the increase of "1%" of the average speeds observed outside urban areas.
In all, "24,858,388" crimes and contraventions were recorded last year, of which "93%" by automatic radars.
