Today well known to French bikers who love "leisure" track days, the Circuit Pass issued by the French Motorcycling Federation (FFM) is available in a more economical version (14 euros) which only includes civil liability coverage..
"Riding on a circuit for leisure requires being properly insured," recalls the Federation. "To do this, the FFM created the Pass Circuit in 2009, a very easy-to-access key to drivers’ insurance coverage during their leisure driving sessions on a speed circuit".
Valid for one day on approved circuits, the Circuit Pass allows you to be guaranteed – "at least", warns the federal body – in civil liability. It includes an individual accident cover and may include optional additional cover.
Worth 35 euros, it represents according to the FFM "the ideal formula for those who want to start or occasionally ride on a speed circuit". But beware: "he does not understand the access rights to the track".
New for 2014 – in addition to the new logo! -, the Eco Circuit Pass offers a simple civil liability insurance, for a minimum price of 14 euros. Subscription to the Pass Circuit can be done on site with FFM motorcycle clubs or approved structures, or via the website where the form to be filled out and printed to be presented on the day of driving can be found, payment being made to from the organizer.
