Suzuki shows new Gixxer 250 and Gixxer 250 SF

The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Suzuki is showing the two 250cc models Gixxer 250 SF and Gixxer 25 in a virtual presentation. Neither of them will be coming to Europe.
A.he two 250cc are old friends on Asian markets. For the 2020 model year, however, both models will be equipped with a refreshed engine.

Suzuki Gixxer 250.
Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 share the complete technology, the frame as well as the tank and rear fairing. The Gixxer 250 comes as a naked bike with an oval headlight in front of the fork and higher handlebars, the Gixxer SF 250 has a full fairing. When it comes to curb weight, there are 156 and 161 kilograms. For the new model year there are new LED headlights and taillights for both, a new digital display in the cockpit and a new exhaust muffler. The SF 250 is also offered in a MotoGP edition, which optically emulates the racing machines.

Suzuki GSX-R 250 R.
There is agreement on the 249 cm³ single cylinder, which relies on oil cooling. Equipped with an overhead camshaft and gasoline injection, the single delivers 26.5 hp at 9,000 tours and provides 22.6 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. It is shifted by a six-speed transmission.
