A new electric motorcycle is arriving from Belgium. With the DTRe Stella, Trevor Motorcycles brings a bike in the style of a flat tracker.

The Trevor DTRe Stella can now be reserved in two versions. Customers can choose between a pure off-road version and a variant with EU road approval. The competition model is priced at 12,995 euros, while the street-ready Stella costs 14,495 euros. The prices include the 21 percent VAT, which is customary in Belgium. When making a reservation, a deposit of 100 euros is required. The option list currently only includes a color selection. You can choose between black and white.

With the Trevor DTRe Stella, buyers are offered an 11 kW electric motor that provides 260 Nm of torque on the rear wheel. It draws energy from a 2.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the Trevor from the Belgian electric motorcycle supplier Sarolea relates. Trevor does not mention a possible range in kilometers, but puts the maximum driving time at around 1.5 hours. The battery should be filled again after 1.3 hours via a 3 kW external charger.

The backbone of the Stella is a steel trellis frame in which the battery pack hangs. The electric motor sits just behind the pivot point on the same. The final drive takes place via a conventional chain. The rear suspension is based on a central spring strut from Ohlins that is directly supported. A fully adjustable Ohlins USD fork is installed in the front. Excel supplies the 19-inch spoked wheels with aluminum hubs and stainless steel spokes. Dunlop DT3 flat track tires in the dimensions 130/80 at the front and 140/80 at the rear are mounted on it. The minimal bodywork, which combines the dummy tank, seat and side number plate into one component, is molded from recycled plastic. The braking system – there is only one 250 disc on the rear wheel – gets Trevor from Beringer.

The weight is as minimal as the entire Stella concept: the DTRe should weigh just 79 kilograms. In the street trim with LED lighting, a few grams should be added.

Conclusion

The DTRe Stella comes as a consistently designed tracker and only offers what you really need to drive. Despite the electric drive, it only weighs 79 kilograms. If you want to hit the road, you also get an approved variant. In both cases, however, the price is impressive.
