Triumph 1200 BONNEVILLE T 120 Black 2017

The Bonneville will surprise its world in more than one way. If the style has hardly changed since the 865 cm3 version, itself largely copied from the Bonnie of the Sixties, its level of quality has jumped and its technology has nothing to envy to many machines in many segments.. The 1200 Bonneville fully plays the culture of the Classic. The visual effects are there, the name is legendary, the communication perfectly modeled.

Now T 120, the Bonneville is no longer the placid machine with shortness of breath and limited muscle. Equipped with a large parallel twin of 1200 cm3, the English bike now sends more than 10 mkg. Hearty! With a respectable 80 horsepower topping the couple. And the box contains much more than a twin cylinder and pieces of steel. On board is shared an anti-skid, an ABS, a Ride-by-Wire system combined with two injection maps (road or rain), an anti-theft system by coded key, an anti-dribble clutch, front and rear lights to LEDs, heated grips with triple configuration and a USB accessory socket.
The Black edition, as the name suggests, is black in color. But more only. The old Black series was only content with one color. The 1200 is available in two volumes: Jet Black, and a pronounced Matt Graphite gray. To mark its difference, the T 120 Black is distinguished by a brown saddle and full black details: the rims, the engine finish, the exhausts, the headlight rim, the rods holding the mirrors and the front fender, the passenger foot controls and toe clips, turn signal housings and passenger handles.

Like the Bonneville T 120, the Black can be equipped with a lot of accessories and the Prestige kit for more charisma. He understands :
– An authentic chrome four bar tank badge
– A black stitched and ribbed saddle
– Transparent black LED flashing lights
– Chrome Vance & Hines conical mufflers
– Black “balloon” handles
– A chain guard, alternator and clutch covers as well as chrome throttle body covers.

Recall campaign:
In March 2019, Triumph launched a major recall campaign for its Bonneville and Street models manufactured between August 11, 2015 and January 13, 2019.

It is therefore the Bonneville T100, T120, Street Twin, Street Cup and Street Scrambler (or 68,686 motorcycles in the world) which were asked to go through the dealership for a problem of “clutch cable that could come into contact with the wiring of the main harness and damage it “, with a risk of malfunction of the lighting and indicators as well as loss of power.
