2008 is the occasion for Triumph to take a closer look at its little circuit virtuoso, the 675 Daytona. Thus appears the limited series “Special Edition”, of which 100 copies are announced for our country (500 are planned in all). The name is enticing, but the plumage does not change the ramage: the 675 remains identical to the standard model – There is not a bolt that changes.
It was only on the aesthetic side that the operation took place. The Daytona SE is adorned with a very elegant “Phantom Black” dress. This intensely brings out the golden rims and typography reserved for this series. It’s very classy, and it’s strongly reminiscent of the limited edition Yamaha R1 ’06: the SP. Although the Hinckley sprinter is not technically modified, that does not prevent her from remaining a formidable tracker who sows trouble in the French championship. The additional cost for this miss is 300 euros, i.e. a price of 10,710 euros.
