On Sunday August 5, the two English races of the World Superbike will be contested, as well as that of the World Supersport! As a preparation, the boss of the PTR team, Simon Buckmaster, had decided to hire his two top drivers for an unprecedented meeting: the Silverstone 200 (read).

Jules Cluzel and Sam Lowes did well in the end: respectively 6th and 7th in the race shortened to six laps and contested in the rain on Saturday, the Frenchman worked well and the Englishman finished 4th in the second complete race (16 laps) run dry the next day.

Also in the wet, the team believes they have learned a lot: "we started from the back of the grid because we changed tires late and that was going very well", reveals Simon Buckmaster, satisfied with the performance of his two foals..

Our "supersportive" Coq was just as happy: "it was good to be able to try the bike and the different tires. We understand the tires much better now". Whatever the weather, Jules and Sam will therefore be ready to take up the challenge of August 5: to beat the double world champion Kenan Sofuoglu … Answer to follow almost live on MNC: stay tuned !
