The range of Yamaha roadsters welcomes a special edition of the FZ8. With a name that bangs, the FZ8 Red Line displays a more sporty temperament. Which is all in all logical since this is an SP-R version in a split black color with a large red scratch. We therefore find the SP-R kit consisting of a Lazer exhaust and an Ohlins shock absorber; This is already enough to make the roadster more singing and more rigorous. The package also consists of an engine guard, a license plate holder, FZ1 radiator scoops and protective pads.
To become Red Line, Yamaha adds a kit of stickers (what? No paint?) Running from bow to stern. If the aspect is more racing, we expected better from a special series than a sticker set. Displayed 500 euros more than a standard FZ8, the Red Line clearly makes an effort on the price given the SP-R equipment installed.
