With the + Mesh, Sena is introducing a Bluetooth-to-Mesh adapter with which all owners of Sena Bluetooth communication devices can use the advantages of modern mesh technology.

When it comes to motorcycle communication systems, mesh is the new connection standard, as it allows an unlimited number of participants via intercom and automatically restores broken connections. So that all Sena users can enjoy the new connection technology, offers Sena now a bluetooth-to-mesh adapter that brings old Sena systems to the new connection standard. With the wireless adapter, all mesh devices within a radius of 800 meters can be integrated at the push of a button.

The mesh adapter, which weighs only 60 grams, is mounted on the motorcycle using the mounting set provided. For optimal connection quality and the best range, the mesh adapter should be attached to a location that offers a direct line of sight to the other mesh systems in the network. Existing Bluetooth connections of the basic system on the helmet – for example to the mobile phone – remain unaffected by the additional mesh connections via the adapter. The integrated battery allows an operating time of 13 hours, the charging time is given as two hours.

The mesh adapter is now available from specialist retailers at a price of 189 euros.
