2,300 Nm, a top speed of 18 km / h and a price of 57,000 euros
In Speyer, Kawasaki had a Ninja H2R blown up to attract the public – and demonstrated what the Japanese company can do besides motorcycles.

His name: Kawasaki BX 300 L. Its origin: Akashi, Japan. His job: to keep things moving. For example, motor housing during the assembly process. Spot welding, sealing and dispensing are among his specialties. But the industrial robot can also make a complete Kawasaki Ninja H2R dance. For hours and effortlessly. Like at the Kawasaki Days in the Technik Museum Speyer, where the BX 300 L caused astonishment by constantly whirling the nearly five hundred pound speed bike through the air.
Kawasaki robot with a top speed of 18 km / h
With a maximum range of 2,812 millimeters, the Kawasaki robot can move up to 300 kilos. He himself weighs 1,460 kilograms. Its six axes in the standard version have a maximum torque of up to 2,300 Newton meters. For comparison: the 310 PS strong Kawasaki Ninja H2R has 165 Nm …
On the other hand, the robot is not as fast as the ninja, which could reach a top speed of 400 km / h as an H2R. Its maximum speed in linear motion is 5,000 millimeters per second – the equivalent of 18 km / h. All moves are precisely programmed with a maximum deviation tolerance of 0.07 millimeters. Incidentally, a 220-volt socket is sufficient for the BX 300 L as an energy source. So if you want one for your own garage – price: around 57,000 euros.
