INTERMOT is buzzing in Cologne and Honda is presenting the Honda Neo Sports Cafe design study at the Paris Motor Show, which combines design elements of a sports naked and a cafe racer.

The Honda Neo Sports Cafe concept study has now been unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. The design concept model was drawn in the European Honda design development center in Rome.

So Honda wants to further develop the lines of the current models.

The Paris study represents a further development of the design line that Honda has already introduced for the series models CB 125 R, CB 300 R and CB 1000 R. The design language should be modern and minimalistic, combining elements of sports naked bikes and cafe racers.

The concept model emphasizes the sporty aspect of the Neo Sports Cafe style with an ultra-short rear, a crisp double rear silencer and a futuristic LED headlight in an ultra-flat lamp mask and a matching rear light under the mono rear. Elaborately designed details and high-quality surfaces make the naked bike look attractive.

At the front, the study relies on an upside-down fork, at the rear the central spring strut is supported directly on the swing arm and frame. Honda relies on cast rims with filigree spokes for its wheels. The proven 650 series four-cylinder engine obviously serves as the drive source, which suggests that this study will lead to the upcoming naked Honda CB 650 R..
