The Terra Adventure driver’s suit from KTM relies on a combination of jacket and pants. The Terra Adventure jacket consists of several layers. This includes a 100 percent waterproof, removable cover (which can be attached to the front or folded up and stowed in the back pocket) and a removable and independent thermal lining. The individual layers are connected to the main jacket with clips and zippers. SAS-TEC shoulder and back protectors ensure safety. Optionally, protectors can be retrofitted in the chest and back area.
Extensive ventilation system
To prevent heat build-up, the Terra Adventure jacket has an extensive ventilation system. If you pull on the front flaps, you open the inserts on the chest, while the upper flaps expose the rear shoulder openings. And if the temperatures continue to rise, the driver can supply even more fresh air by rolling up the appropriate insert on the back.
KTM
The jacket also has three pockets, two on the front, one of which is detachable and the other is waterproof, and a large one on the back. A softly edged collar and adjustable width adjustment on the sleeves ensure a perfect fit. Thanks to a pocket and a hose guide, the jacket is also prepared for the use of an optional hydration pack, while the black and orange color scheme also includes reflective elements for better visibility.
Pants with a similar concept
To match the jacket, KTM also supplies Terra Adventure trousers made of robust fabric and a tear-resistant ripstop construction. The pants are also based on a three-layer structure with removable waterproof lining and removable thermal lining. Large flaps on the front of the thighs provide fresh air. SAS-TEC protectors can be found on the hips and knees, while the knees are additionally protected by a leather element. Width adjustments on the waistband and the ankles as well as a belt ensure an optimal fit.
The jacket is available in sizes from S to 3XL and costs around 490 euros. The trousers are also available in sizes from S to 3XL. Here the price is around 340 euros. The only available color combination is black and orange – after all, it is a combination from KTM. But drivers of other brands are also allowed to buy.
