Metzeler Roadtec 01 in the test
Metzeler Roadtec 01
Comparative test touring tires (MOTORRAD 12/2017)
2nd place: Comfort, quick response, good feedback – the Roadtec 01 is actually the perfect companion on all days that a typical motorcycle season in this country between Easter and October has to offer.

The Metzeler Roadtec 01 on the country road and in everyday life
135 points, 3rd place
As soon as you roll onto the road, the feedback is already there – the Roadtec 01 is really on its toes and after just a few meters gives clear feedback on how things are going with the reserves. The Metzeler also scores with exemplary self-damping. Comfort-oriented types of riders who like this slightly crunchy characteristic will have a lot of joy with this easily assessable rubber. The stability is okay, only if you have to go around the corner really quickly and diagonally, competitors such as B. Pirellis Angel GT more precisely on the chosen course.
The Metzeler Roadtec 01 in the wet test
93 points, 1st place
When it rains, the smoothly coordinated Roadtec 01 can stand out particularly clearly. The Metzeler immediately gives the best feedback for its adhesive reserves in wet conditions and can be steered around the corner with a lot of confidence, even under the most adverse weather conditions.
