For a long time, the organizers of the Motorradwelt Bodensee were optimistic that the fair could go up at the end of January. From January 29th to 31st, 2021, the biker scene wanted to meet at the exhibition center in Friedrichshafen. Now comes the rejection.

“We are extremely optimistic that the event can take place”, said Petra Rathgeber, project manager of the international motorcycle fair, in mid-October. “We can implement the protection and hygiene concept very well. We have already demonstrated how this works at Interboot.”

So that all distance requirements can be met, the most important motorcycle fair in southern Germany should occupy the entire exhibition grounds with a total of twelve halls. At the start of the 2021 motorcycle season, the focus should be on the latest machines and models for three days, as well as a diverse supporting program with a test course, a Supermoto Show race, a trial show and an FMX jump. With live customizing, a motorcycle should be completely rebuilt during the event. The used motorcycle market and the special show “100 years of Moto Guzzi” would have supplemented the offer with motorcycles, scooters, quads and accessories.

Corona forces you to cancel

The organizers will be in touch again on October 27th – this time by canceling the trade fair. Due to the escalation of the corona pandemic, the Motorradwelt Bodensee will not take place. “We regret it very much, but unfortunately the current developments leave us no other choice for the Motorradwelt Bodensee”, Petra Rathgeber explained the serious decision that the team now had to make.
