New tank ring system: SW-Motech brings Pro version
New tank ring system
SW-Motech brings Pro version
EICMA 2019
Accessories provider SW-Motech has further developed its tank bag adapter system. The Ion and Evo systems will now be followed at EICMA by the new Pro tank ring system, which uses guide rails and magnetic technology.

The positioning of the top ring on the tank bag is completely new. Until now, the optimal position had to be found by trial and error and then fixed through the tank bag with holes and screws. In the future this will be made easier by a rail system. The top ring can be moved lengthways on these rails, which are attached to the bottom of the tank bag, and can be easily fixed using T-bolts. In this way, the tank bag can also be quickly adapted to different motorcycles.

The actual tank ring, which continues to be screwed onto the rim of the tank cap, has also been redesigned. Magnets on the top and on the tank ring should simplify the coupling. The actual securing is still carried out via the mechanical snap lock.
Tank bags are also new
Lays down for the new Pro-Tankring-System SW-Motech but also a new generation of tank bags. The new Pro models offer even larger and wider outer pockets as well as a more flexible interior division.
The Pro tank bag series, which comprises a total of nine models, is supplemented by a model for strap attachment and a model with a magnetic holder for steel tanks. The offer starts with the Pro Micro from 95 euros. The Pro Daypack is also available with a magnetic attachment for 135 euros. Pro Engage costs 150 euros, Pro City 190 euros, Pro Trial 200 euros, Pro Sport 195 euros, Pro GS 220 euros and Pro Enduro 150 euros. The Pro tank rings and tank bags will go on sale in June 2020.
