The Italian electric motorcycle supplier Tacita is presenting the new T-Cruise Turismo at EICMA. The new model offers pockets, a windshield and a range of 322 km.

After the urban version, which is competing as a roadster, the Italians are pushing a turismo variant for EICMA 2019. It shares the technology with the Urban, but has been optimized for travel requirements. These include a higher-cranked tubular handlebar, a handlebar-mounted windshield and two rear bags made of eco-leather. In addition, the position of the footrests can be varied three times.

With the electric drive, the customer can choose between different configurations. The electric motor is offered in power levels of 11, 27, 34 and 44 kW, the latter with a maximum torque of 100 Nm. The smaller motors come to 60, 60 and 85 Nm. There are also several offers for batteries. The smallest energy storage device has a capacity of 9 kWh. The other levels offer 18 and 27 kWh. According to the manufacturer, the ranges are 113, 220 and 322 km. The on-board charger can be used to recharge at any conventional socket. Corresponding charging stations can also be used with the optional fast charger.

Prices start at 12,690 euros net

The electric motor works together with a five-speed gearbox and a chain to transmit power to the rear wheel. Reverse gear is also on board. In addition, depending on the configured model, the pilot can choose between three or four driving modes. The front wheel is guided by a USD 41 fork, while the Tacita uses a central spring strut with 90 mm of travel at the rear. Brembo contributes the 320 disc brake system at the front and its 240 counterpart at the rear. The rear braking system works regeneratively and thus recovers energy.

The new Tacita T-Cruise Turismo will be available as a T15 at prices from 12,690 euros plus taxes. The top model T65 is priced at 26,286 euros net.
