The Loncin premium brand Voge has brought the models available in Germany with 300 and 500 cubic meters – the latter with more power – over the Euro 5 hurdle. The ER10 electric model is currently being tested.

Voge’s parent company is best known as a partner of BMW Motorrad in Asia. Loncin builds the 800 and 900 F series engines for BMW there. Under its own brand Voge, markets one of the largest motorcycle manufacturers in the world its premium brand also in Germany.

Euro 5 brings more performance

The Voge 500 DS and 500 R are on offer in Germany. Driven by a 471 cubic in-line two-cylinder, their output with the new homologation increases by almost three hp to a good 47, and the torque increases by almost eight percent to 44.5 Nm. In addition to the performance, the prices of the two 500 models are also increasing. The naked bike Voge 500 R will cost 5,399 euros in 2021, 530 euros more than in 2020 (16% VAT), the adventure bike 500 DS will rise by 537 euros to 5,699 euros. With optional luggage set “Adventure kit” 6,099 euros are due for the DS. The classic variant Voge 500 AC, does not appear on either the German or the Chinese side. The 650 DS available in China is not offered in Germany.

The 300 R and 300 AC models, which are also available, do not experience any increase in performance from Euro 5: 26 HP and 23.5 Nm from a 292 cubic single cylinder remain. The prices of the two 300s increase moderately by 100 euros to 3,799 euros compared to the big sisters.

Electric motorcycle in the test

On the Chinese side, a purely electric model with the name ER10 is offered. With a 60V system, six kilowatts of continuous output, 14 kilowatts of peak output and 42 Nm of torque are available. With this, the 115 kilogram ER10 should bring a 75 kilogram driver a good 120 kilometers. This is ensured by a 70 AH battery. The maximum speed is 100 km / h. When asked by the German importer MSA, the ER10 is currently being tested internally in Germany; a later market launch cannot be ruled out.

The Voge ER10 is currently only available in China. The electric bike has a peak output of 14 kilowatts. The German importer does not rule out a market launch.

Conclusion

Voge brings the 300 and 500 over Euro 5 and still find just under three hp and just as much torque in the twin. Clean.

The price of the 500 models also rises by more than 500 euros each, while the equally powerful 300 models are only 100 euros more expensive without additional performance.

A purely electric model is probably on the way to the German market with the ER10. The e-runabout is already being tested by the importer MSA.
