The Yamaha D’elight is said to be the ideal partner for city traffic. For 2021, Yamaha is making the 125cc scooter fit with a new look and an engine trimmed to Euro 5.

The new D’elight will have a new design for 2021 with rounded headlights, integrated indicators and a position light mounted on the fairing. The redesigned front panel improves wind and weather protection and the spacious leg area ensures a comfortable driving position with easy access. A new, larger LC display with an analog speedometer serves as the interface between the driver and the scooter.
Yamaha
The 125 cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine continues to produce 8.4 hp and 9.8 Nm even after Euro 5 classification. A standard start-stop system will further reduce consumption for 2021. And if the D’elight is to be turned off, a new handle helps when jacking it up.
The new Yamaha D’elight 125 comes in the colors Pearl White, Power Black and Lava Red. It will be available from dealers from December 2020. Yamaha names the price 2,699 euros (19% VAT) plus 225 euros for additional costs.
Conclusion
The new D’elight meets all the requirements for a basic engine for the city. With 8.4 PS it is sufficiently powerful and easy to control with a weight of almost 100 kilograms. And the price of almost 2,700 euros also makes it attractive in this respect.
