The Canbus-enabled charger with trickle charging function is accurately processed and has a housing protection according to IP65. It weighs only 367 grams and the detachable charging cable comes with solid alligator clips. If these are dismantled, classic ring eyelets are visible, which can be screwed directly onto the battery poles.

Charging current is a maximum of 1.1 A.

The PM1100 charges wet, gel, EFB, AGM and maintenance-free batteries as well as lithium-ion batteries. It is recommended for charging battery capacities from 2 to 40 Ah (PM750: 2 to 30 Ah, PM3500: 2 to 120 Ah). The charging current is a maximum of 1.1 A..

The operation is simple. You only have to choose whether you want to charge a 6 or 12 volt battery and whether it is an AGM or lithium battery. The load processor does the rest automatically. The operating instructions are extensive, but not always clear.

Noticed positively: Very versatile, compact

Noticed negatively: Instruction manual misleading

Dimensions: 193 x 69 x 48 mm

Price: 69.99 euros

MOTORRAD verdict: 4.5 stars out of a possible 5

Conclusion

With the Hi-Q Tools PM1100, Polo offers a compact yet versatile battery charger. Only the operating instructions, which are not always completely understandable, caused negative points in the first test.
