MV Agusta Superveloce 800

New colors for the super athlete

MV Agusta has announced that production of the Superveloce 800 has restarted after the Corona break. In addition, two new paint finishes for the small super sports car were presented.

At the EICMA premiere, the Italians still spoke of a start in the second half of 2019. In May 2019, it was announced that the Superveloce in the series version at EICMA 2019 will be presented in autumn and then be delivered from March 2020, but that is now again slightly delayed. Loud M.V Agusta should initially only 300 copies of the so-called "Oro series" which were sold out shortly after the bike was presented. Apart from that, a non-limited version was then presented, which was previously available in two color variants. After a lot of feedback from many MV Agusta fans, the Italian manufacturer has now announced that it will be offering two new paint finishes in the future, the design of which is somewhat closer to the Oro series. In addition to a red and silver paint job, a new black paint job was also presented. MV Agusta has also given both new model variants a few golden color elements. In the same breath, the Italians also announced that production had resumed after the Corona break.

This red-silver paint is supposed to be reminiscent of bikes from bygone times.

Classic design

In terms of design, the Superveloce 800 relies on the classic colors of the early MV models. In terms of technology, the Supersport model relies on the F3 800. The carbon lining of the MV Agusta Superveloce 800 stretches tightly over the tubular space frame. The cladding around the cockpit area runs towards a single LED round headlight. The upper part of the fairing also houses the LED daytime running lights. The hump bench is designed as a single seat, with a second seat lurking under the hump.

The 800 three-cylinder has been completely re-mapped to generate more peak performance. MV Agusta promised 148 hp. The 3-1-3 exhaust system with two tailpipes on the right and one on the left is also new. As a retro feature, a leather strap stretches over the tank of the study. MV Agusta would like to have 19,990 euros for the Superveloce 800. The Oro series costs 27,990 euros.

Conclusion

With the Superveloce 800, MV Agusta has put a very exclusive motorcycle on its wheels, which is intended to be a homage to bikes from bygone times and which will be available in two new color variants in the future.
