MNC: How are your days going? ?

F. T. : I don’t really have a typical day, but despite everything they are a good working day. I am impressed by the adaptability of my team. We keep in constant contact, we move step by step on basic projects and on the gradual recovery. A good point, however, about this situation: do not waste 3 hours in daily and stressful road traffic, which gives time for online research, the possibility of spending more time to think as a team, keep informed, be more creative…

MNC: What do you miss the most? The least ?

F. T. : What I miss the most is freedom of movement. I respect the notion of confinement to the rule and even if I do rather well with the sedentarization forced by the virus, being static is really not my thing … What I miss the least is the crowd, the traffic jams (which do not only affect Paris), the permanent aggressiveness of people at the wheel / handlebars and the incivility that I found growing before this period … The three times I went shopping in recent days, the journeys have been extraordinary, calm and with courtesy. I’m not naive: it won’t last…

MNC: What are you afraid of ?

F. T. : I’m afraid of fat! The one that grows on my stomach, because although I allow myself some physical exercise, we tend to eat really well these days … As I cook for my family, I prepare all the recipes that I have in the evening. I don’t have time to elaborate in normal times: slow cooking, pies, meats in sauce, Italian recipes … and my cellar takes a big hit !

MNC: A book, a film, a series, a record to recommend ?

F. T. : I have no friendship for this craze for the series. I see too much marketing and a source of unnecessary addiction! However, I recently podcast a lot and I discovered Antoine de Caunes’ show on France Inter, "": each episode is a nugget of humor, culture and lightness. De Caunes has lost none of its corrosive tone, its creativity and its taste for "provocation" … a real treat! In books, if you are a fan of western atmosphere and have never read the whole series (plus the spin-offs) of Larry Mc Murtry’s "", then treat yourself to this treat! It strikes and relegates many Netflix films to the rank of children’s rhymes…

MNC: Your Favorite Motorcycle Video ?

F. T. : The first episode of "" and all those to come from: a great and generous trip on behalf of Laurent between the North Cape and the south of South Africa (interrupted due to virus), with a charity initiative for the benefit of Cardiac Surgery Patronage. He had the good taste to go on a Yamaha and he has not regretted it !

MNC: The first thing you will do at the end of the lockdown ?

F. T. : I will go to dinner with my mother who is 84 years old and who is starting to get really bored in her apartment … Also so that she stops calling me every two hours !
