MNC: How are your days going? ?

P. M. : Almost like in the office, except meetings and dates. Management of all business matters in relation to managers and Kawasaki Europe, analysis of figures, preparation of crisis exit strategies, marketing, sales, technical, support to dealers, various subjects … Beyond these activities , I pay my vacation to tinker, tidy up, do everything that has piled up for years for lack of time. This is the only good side of containment.

MNC: What do you miss the most? The least ?

P. M. : In the end everything ends up missing … Distancing is incompatible with personal or professional contacts. The lack of direct professional contacts is very frustrating and when I see this blue sky I think of all the motorcycles waiting to come out of the dealerships … My motorcycle and my car miss me, and I miss them and the possibility of riding at will. I’m lucky to have a garden and garage to DIY after work, but like everyone else, the inability to go out freely is the most frustrating..

MNC: What are you afraid of ?

P. M. : I’m not afraid, I do what it takes to limit the risks for myself and others. I strictly apply the instructions. Fear does not avoid danger, but prudence is the mother of safety. I am more afraid of the inconsistency of certain unconscious people and that it lasts longer and harder because of them. You have to get out of it quickly and make the effort right away.

MNC: A book, a film, a series, a record to recommend ?

P. M. : I have always liked working in music, even as a student. I pulled out my collection of vinyls and CDs. I rediscover some with pleasure: music from the 60’s, 70’s, rock, blues, jazz, R&B, pearls abound. This is what I prefer! TV and series not too much, just in the evening. After the dramatic news, a good film is essential but they are rare and seen and reviewed. I don’t have the head to read, except the motorcycle magazines and the dedicated websites of course. Books are good for holidays, with peace of mind.

MNC: Your Favorite Motorcycle Video ?

P. M. : There are many videos and documentaries on all the sites, I don’t have a favorite. All those that allow you to escape and virtually ride are welcome. I really like the United States and have a weakness for video du. She brings back memories to me and the music is good. He drives there in Indian, but in the early 70s.

MNC: The first thing you will do at the end of the lockdown ?

P. M. : Go to the office on May 11 in the morning! Get all activities back on track to help our dealers and deliver to our customers. Invite friends to celebrate "the liberation" around a well-stocked barbecue. Ride and see the landscape that moves !
