New for 2016 motorcycle: the Diavel Carbon puts on a new dress

A brand new Diavel in Milan? Not sure…

Surprised many times during dynamic tests, the well-advanced prototype of this revised and corrected Diavel – – foreshadowed an official presentation at the EICMA in Milan at the end of November. 

However, this second generation of Diavel may have to wait as Ducati announces the arrival "at the end of October" of a new Carbon version technically identical to the current model. !

, The Diavel Carbon is distinguished by its carbon trim and forged rims, both lighter and more stylish with their polished edges.

For 2016, this "carbonized" version will be released in an "asphalt" gray color crossed out in its center by a black and red band, as well as new silent brushed aluminum. The exhaust pipes are also covered with a ceramic treatment with Zircotec, a material used for its heat absorption properties.. 

And heat, the turbulent Diavel does not fail to send thanks to the consequent breath of its L-twin with double ignition of 162 hp! Ducati also claims the use of a "new and exclusive" upholstery on the "completely" redesigned saddle for better comfort..

The price of this Diavel Carbon 2016 goes to 22,290 €, or 3,800 euros more than the current standard version (18,490 €).

As for the next generation of Diavel, its arrival will undoubtedly take place later than expected, according to this little sentence slipped in conclusion by Ducati: "the 2016 Diavel family will be completed by the Dark version with black tank, frame and rims"…
